Dear Piscataway Families,
We are in the home stretch of what has been a tremendous school year filled with hard work, achievement, and celebrations by our staff, students, and families. There is more to come in June before we can close the books on the 2022-2023 school year. We have exams, awards celebrations, spirit days, and moving up ceremonies, culminating with middle school promotion ceremonies and our Piscataway High School graduation on June 21.
Remember that schools are closed for teachers and students on Tuesday, June 6, for Primary Election Day; offices will remain open. All schools and offices are closed on June 19 for our celebration of Juneteenth, our newest federal holiday commemorating the end of slavery in the United States.
Students have early dismissal on Friday, June 2, for a teacher in-service day and for our final two days of school on June 20 and 21.
I ask everyone to work hard to finish out the year on a high note, but be sure to take time to appreciate all the pomp and circumstance that June has to offer.
Very Sincerely,

Dr. Frank Ranelli
Superintendent of Schools
