Important information for parents
Community Childcare Solutions
Piscataway accepts subsidy with Community Childcare Solutions. Until you have a final contract on file with Community Education, you are responsible for the full tuition and registration fee. You must register on Community Pass each year for before and/or after care if you wish to use the program.
New Contract
If you qualify for Community Childcare Solutions, please complete your application and sign the parent forms.
Scan the form to
[email protected]
or fax 732-572-4577. Ms. Scoda will complete the Providers portion of the contract and send it back to you.
After receiving the completed paperwork, please send to your caseworker.
Once you receive the final contract, please send back to Ms. Scoda so we can adjust your account.
Most contracts will have a copay that the parent is responsible for paying. We cannot adjust any fees until we have final contracts.
Existing Contracts
If you already have a final contract it is important that you know the following:
You must still register in Community Pass each year for before and/or after care.
You are responsible for the $50.00 registration fee.
You are responsible for any copays, late fees, or pick up late fees.
It is your responsibility to notify your case worker if your child changes schools.
Medical Information
There is no nurse available during the before and after care programs. We have staff trained in CPR, first aid, and epipen administration.
Asthma – If your child has asthma, please indicate it on the registration form. Children will have access to their inhalers during the before and/or after cart program if the doctor indicates they can self-administer on the Asthma Action Plan. Before your child can start the program, we must have an Asthma Action Plan on file in our office. Please call 732-572-4688 with any questions.
Allergy – If your child requires an epipen, we must have the Anaphylaxis Action Plan on file in the office before your child can begin. In addition, your child’s epipen must be in the school’s nurses office.
Seizure – If your child has a history of seizures, please call 732-572-4688 for paperwork needed in order to attend the before and/or after care program.
Refunds
There are no refunds once the month has started. If you wish to withdraw your child from the program, you must do so before the 30th of the month prior. Please call 732-572-4688 to withdraw from the program. If you contact the office on the 1st or during the month, you are responsible for paying that month’s tuition.
Waitlist
If your child is on the waitlist, there is no money due at that time. Once you are taken off, payment must be made within 24 hours.
Snacks
Your child must come to the aftercare program with snack and a drink.
Lost and Found
Please make sure your child’s personal belongings are labeled. (Coats, hats, gloves, water bottles)
