Message from PHS Principal
During our first block physical education class in the Anthony Gymnasium, one of our basketball hoop motors malfunctioned while it was being lowered. This individual motor created heavy sparks and light smoke; students were immediately evacuated out of the gym. The Fire Department was notified and the area was deemed safe for students. The motor will be removed by the maintenance crew and all the basketball hoops will be inspected by a certified service provider.
